The goal of the Multi-Employer Plan (MEP) is to provide low-cost retirement benefits to nonprofits that are members of CBNA. By pooling resources across small nonprofits and standardizing retirement options, the MEP helps organizations, especially smaller ones, offer competitive retirement benefits to their employees.
Eligibility
- Registered 501(c)(3) providing services in Benton and Franklin Counties
- Current dues-paying member of CBNA
- Meets annual reporting and compliance requirements set by the MEP provider and Third Party Administrator
Enrollment
Interested organizations reach out to the MEP provider (currently Petersen Hastings) or the MEP Administrator at cbnainfo@gmail.com to inquire about details, and complete a Multi-Employer Plan Intent to Participate form to determine fit.
Open enrollment runs January 1 and July 1 each year. Plan on 2–4 months of advance planning for a smooth onboarding into either window.
